Description

Monitor an additional area with this add-on wireless sensor that measures ambient temperature and humidity, and air or soil temperature with a 6 ft. dry probe.

Use a smartphone, tablet or computer to remotely monitor temperature and humidity levels that affect your home, business or vacation home or rentals.

Protect your property.* Prevent frozen pipes, mold growth and food spoilage.* Monitor indoor temperature and humidity with the sensor and outdoor temperature with the detachable 1.8m dry probe.* Receive e-mail and text alerts for temperature and humidity, connection loss and low battery.

How it works:

  • Connect the gateway to your existing router with the included LAN cable. The Gateway uploads data to www.lacrossealerts.com for 24/7 remote monitoring using a smartphone, tablet or computer.

  • The temperature and humidity sensor transmits data to the gateway (60m range). Alerts are sent as e-mail or text message


Troubleshooting:

  • La Crosse Alerts devices will generally recover from most anomalies within 24 hours. If your device does not recover on it's own, unplug the gateway for 10 seconds and then plug it back in.

  • Is the sensor within ideal reception range from the gateway (60m or less)?

  • Are the batteries working? Use name-brand alkaline batteries dated at least 7 years in advance. Test the battery voltage to ensure it is at least 1.48 on a voltmeter that reads in numbers.

  • La Crosse Alerts work with most network routers. If you need a network router to connect your Gateway to the Internet, we recommend the following approved network router.
